Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, recently unveiled his 91-page prophesies for 2024. The prophecies touched on Nigeria’s economy, sports, Nollywood industry, infrastructure, among others. The spiritual document also came with warnings for highly and lowly placed Nigerians. He equally spoke on the aspects of governance that the government at all levels must focus on in order to make life practically meaningful for the people. Ayodele also tasked Christian leaders on making themselves accessible to their congregants and other Nigerians.
According o him, journalists in the country could not access many top pastors, unless on special invitation. He urged such clerics to make themselves accessible to people.
The clergyman said Nigerians are a set of suffering and smiling people, that despite hardship they were able to celebrate Christmas.
Ayodele urged the Federal Government to focus on stable power supply, improvement on security, development of infrastructural facilities; agriculture, and creation of employment for the Nigerian youths. He said: “Hardship is in Nigeria. Let them fix the issue of petrol. Even if they do, it will still be the same, because petrol is not our problems. “I don’t see the economy getting better except that the government goes into mechanised farming to reduce the hardship, which is among one of the five things the government must do to revamp the economy.
“The government should try as much as they can to reduce prices of food commodities. They should stop the palliative programme because it is a scam. It is fraudulent. It cannot help the government at all.”
Ayodele also delved into the issue of unstable electricity in the country. He stated: “There should be 24-hour light every day. They should use our general mineral resources to liberate Nigerians from poverty. Nigerian citizens are languishing in serious poverty. They should use it to liberate us and do all that is needful.
“Also, there should be creation of employment across the country. In the same vein, there should be mechanised farming, if they do all these Nigeria will be better.
“Before we talk about infrastructure which is very essential, like roads, there should be food for people. It is then that people will be talking about roads. Ayodele submitted that Nigerians are paying for what they have done, saying: “When you were collecting money and selling your votes, this is the result. So, they are paying for it, for doing what they were not supposed to do.” He said there might be more hardship in 2024. He added: “We just realised that the government is playing politics with Nigerians. They are politicians and that is why President Bola Tinubu must pray not to be bereaved. He must pray because there is darkness in the country. More calamities will happen.”
On security, he said the solution to the pervading insecurity in the country is community policing, saying when that is put in place, “then leave the rest. All these problems here and there will be settled.
Ayodele also noted that the proposed salary increment has not been structured well. He added that if care is not taken, many people that like President Tinubu and ensured he won the 2023 presidential poll would fight him back.
He revealed that another political party would be established and it would be known as ODE party. But, it will not fly. Ayodele enjoined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) to team up , because according to him, PDP cannot win alone at present in the general elections. He noted that was more technical. He also said the Supreme Court would shock a lot of people.”
On the 2024 governorship election in Edo State, he said the PDP must put its house in order, Ayodele continued: “We have to pray against attack on schools, and markets, because they want to start attacking these places.
“Let’s pray against water shortage, measles, water borne diseases, hypertension, which can kill people fast. Churches will be bombed, mosque will be attacked. Pastors, Imam, Emirs will be kidnapped. Let us pray against fire outbreak and gas explosion in our country.”
Ayodele stated further that the government in Nigeria would launch digital currency, saying: Digital currency will not help our economy. It will only help the economy, if the government accepts to do the right things that will boost the growth of the economy.
“There is going to be protests on economic hardship, if this government continues this way, kerosene will be scarce.” But is it the best for Nigeria to break up into smaller nations? He answered: “It won’t happen until 2025; that is why the government has to do restructuring. But this government will not do anything about it. They are playing politics with it. We need to pray that no judge will be kidnapped.
Ayodele further said: “When I started making prophecies in 1993, I would tell the government something and they would not adhere to it. If they listened, fine, and if not, fine, I will not be discouraged. I want to build a mosque, Religion does not take you to heaven. Don’t kill yourself because of religion.”
