Afrobeats and Highlife singer, Ebuka Jude Ezerioha, popularly known as Popito by music fans is reveling in the success of Nigerian music import all over the world, saying Nigeria now dictates the tune all over the world.
The Huzzle Records signee who is a drummer , a pianist, a singer , sound producer and a performing artist is truly at peace and strongly believes there is more to come out of Nigeria and Africa at large.
“African music now has a spot. It stands on its own and has its own genre. It’s a force to reckon with, and they are now subscribing to it all over the world. We don’t need to travel to serve the international market , we blow here in Lagos they feel it in LA , in London and Lisbon and anywhere in the world for that matter.
Popito has always understood the fundamentals of music and worked with so many musicians, like Skales, Timaya, Teni , Ice Prince , Davido , Orezi to mention a few.
“I’m now signed to Huzzle Records owned by my dear childhood friend, Babatunde Oyebode a.k.a, CEO of HUZZLE RECORDS . It is a reunion , we started very young together. Now we are back together to work together and make good music and a good music business.
Popito is an Afrobeats , Highlife and African Sounds artist.
On what inspires him when making sounds or music, he says, “For me, it’s just my mood , and expressing it with music and beats. You have to be blessed to be able to do what I do.
On how social media has helped his career, he says, “ It has helped me alot to get my craft out there, is a platform to showcase my talent and get my production business afloat. It has immensely helped not just me but everyone.
