The State Secretary of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Aguoguo Mbagwu has said that the party is strategizing on how to defend its votes in the state and nation wide during the general polls.
This even has he has warned Imo people to be aware of some fraudsters who are selling fake House of Assembly forms.
“Right now , we are strategizing on how to defend our votes in the 2027 general polls because we know that Nigerians are going to massively vote for our candidates.
“We are the only party in the whole country whose online membership registration portal collapsed because of the thousands of Nigerians who want to register as members of the following the entry of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwanso who Nigerians know are credible persons and can turn the current ugly tide when the party takes over the presidency in 2027.
We are sure of also winning the Douglas House ( Imo state government House ) when the governorship is conducted later in November of 2027,,” he said.
