The defense of the Super Falcons has given coach Justine Madugu serious cause for concern after they let in five goals against Malawi and Egypt.
Madugu lamented that the team have been letting in “very, very unnecessary” goals which is very worrying”.
“We are a team very solid defensively, but of recent we have been conceding very, very unnecessary goals, which is very worrisome,” he admitted.

“The manner we are conceding these goals calls for serious concerns.
“We have to do a bit of work to address this.”
The Super Falcons let in three goals on their way to a 10th WAFCON crown last year.
