Footage has emerged of the moment a man was rescued from committing suicide after allegedly catching his wife cheating during a video call.
In the undated video shared by @maxiblog_amuludin on X, the unnamed man can be seen at a location presumed to be a beach being consoled by a policeman while surrounded by some witnesses.
The man is seen holding a phone during an apparent video call said to be with his alleged cheating wife.
The man can also be seen being slapped by some of the witnesses who insulted him for attempting to take his own life over a cheating partner.
Speaking in Yoruba, one of the witnesses can be heard saying, “You want to kill yourself because of a woman. You are an unfortunate person.”
The same witness can also be heard asking the man, who is weeping profusely while running to escape being further hit, to explain what happened to his wife.
The man subsequently sinks to the ground sobbing.
As the policeman pulls up the apparently devastated man to console him, another witness can be heard saying in Yoruba, “Someone is sleeping with his wife at this moment.”
Another witness interjected, “This is a big problem. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.”
Another witness advised the weeping man to stop crying as his cheating wife was observing him on the video call.
“Your wife they look you na as you dey cry,” the witness muttered while telling the victim to man up.
The 50-second video ends as the policeman leads the still sobbing man away.
SunOnline could not verify the time and location the video was shot as of press time.
