The Nigeria League of Veteran Journalists (NILVEJ) has urged security agancies to be alert throughout the elections to ensure no one or group breach peace in the country.
NILVEJ, in a statement, its president, Chief Oliver Okpala, also advised Nigerians to go out en mass tomorrow to cast their vote for candidates of their choice.
Okpala appealed to journalists covering the elections to be professional, factual, avoid sensationalism and respect all principle od journalism.
He urged Nigerians to always know that their life after elections and therefore need to live peacefully among themselves. He wished all the presidential candidates well, saying that the period if electioneering has afforded Nigerians the opportunity to know who to vote for.
