His club Omonia Nicosia ended up losing the game by a lone goal but his performance was well-noticed by football across the World.
UEFA on Friday afternoon released the name of the players listed for the player of the week and Uzoho was among the nominated players.
He was listed among Oliviera of Braga, Veerman (PSV) and Bovim of Sturm Graz of Austria. The winner will be announced this weekend.
