The Vice Chancellor, University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, Prof. Ebunoluwa Adejuyigbe, has expressed the willingness of her administration to ensure rapid infrastructural development of the university through the support of the state government and other stakeholders.
The Vice Chancellor hinted that efforts had been put in place to ensure rapid infrastructural development in all campuses of the university.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr Isaac Oluyi, the Vice Chancellor was said to have commenced implementation of some of her developmental agenda for the university. This includes the installation of Internet connection facility across all the campuses and hostels of the university.
“The facility will among others provide 24‑hour, per‑session internet bandwidth service, provide network engineering support 24‑hours per day a session, help reduce the cost of communication and internet fees, provide a single‑hop direct connection to the international internet backbone, provide real‑time monitoring of performance and use of infrastructure, provide centralized administrative controls for users, management, promote secure and accessible exchange of information and sharing of ideas within UNIMED,” she said.
