UNIBEN alumni Lagos branch inaugurates new exco

Lagos branch of University of Benin (UNIBEN) Alumni Association has inaugurated a new executive committee to serve from August 2023 to August 2025.

Elected as Chairman of the new executive, which will serve a two-year tenure is Chief Executive Officer of First Eleven Limited, Godson Aikhoje, who was the former vice chairman.

Austin Obi Omovoh was elected as the new vice chairman, while Arughawumi Omatseyin leads the branch secretariat as general secretary.

Others include Agatha Igunbor (treasurer), Julius Ebodaghe (financial secretary), Ngozi Ata (welfare secretary), Olugbenga Paul-Osaro (public relations officer) and Chris Ojei (assistant secretary general).

Speaking after the inauguration, Aikhoje said the new executive is committed to the welfare of the alumni in Lagos as well as promotion of the enviable image of the prestigious University of Benin.
