Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi has appointed Mr. Emmanuel Uzor, the Ebonyi State correspondent of The Sun Publishing Ltd, his new Chief Press Secretary.
The Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Senator Emmanuel Onwe, who announced the appointment yesterday, said it was with immediate effect. Mr. Uzor is taking over from the former Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Emma Anya who was disengaged by the governor two weeks ago. Uzor joined The Sun in 2010 and has worked in Onitsha, Anambra State, before his transfer to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital in August, 2015.
He holds a degree in Philosophy and Mass Communication from the University of Ibadan and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka respectively.
He also holds Bachelors of Philosophy, B’PHL from the Pontificate University, Urban, Rome and Diploma in Latin from St Joseph University, Rome.
