Thousands of teenagers across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are anxiously awaiting their A-level, T-level, BTec Nationals, and other Level 3 results today.
Grades will be available from 8 am, with a clearer national overview expected by 9:30 am.
These results play a crucial role in determining university placements and apprenticeship opportunities, marking a pivotal moment for many students. The day will be closely monitored as outcomes unfold.
This year’s exams followed a period of disruption caused by the concrete crisis, which led to several schools switching to remote learning after reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete was discovered in their buildings.
Despite these challenges, students impacted by the crisis were not granted a one-off uplift in their exam marks, leaving them to face the results as they stand.
The situation underscores the resilience of students who have navigated a difficult year amid ongoing educational disruptions.
