The candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Onuzulike John Udemezue, has promised to represent his people well if elected, as his counterpart for Idemili North and South, Ikechukwu Okonkwo, also pledged to serve his people diligently if given the opportunity.

The duo made their commitments in separate speeches shortly after the state congress of the party in Awka, Anambra State capital, where they were handed their tickets by the state chairman, Chief Zulyke Chinwuba.

“I will serve my people with all my heart. I know the challenges my people are facing and I will tackle them if given the opportunity to serve,” Udemezue said.

The party chairman, Chinwuba, expressed satisfaction with the quality of candidates chosen, expressing confidence that the AA would win many state and National Assembly seats if the polls were transparently conducted, describing the party as a credible alternative capable of unseating any political party in Nigeria.

He pledged that party faithful across all wards in the state would campaign vigorously to ensure their candidates won convincingly, saying: “We will storm their various constituencies and make sure that we do a lot of campaigning to make them win and win convincingly.”

Chinwuba expressed strong optimism about the party’s growing influence, declaring: “I believe that with time, everybody in Anambra State will be singing Action Alliance instead of APGA. We will talk about Action Alliance from now henceforth.”
