Former governorship aspirant in Delta State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief (Amb) Uba Michael, has teamed with Deputy Senate president and gubernatorial flag bearer of the party, Ovie Omo-Agege ahead of next year’s election.

Uba made this known after a recent meeting with Omo-Agege in Abuja where they shared ideas on how to win the state and to plan generally for the elections.

“The idea is to have a united front when the elections come around next year. A party divided against itself will not stand and we don’t want that to be the case in Delta State.

“Delta state has suffered misrule since 1999 and it is time to rescue our people and I believe Omo-Agege is the right person to lead this charge from the front.

“His wealth of experience in leadership will play an important role in governoring a state like Delta”, Uba said.

He called on all party members in the state to ensure that they get involved in the build-up and campaign when it starts later this month.

Also at the meeting was the Ex Comptroller General of the Nigeria Fire service.
