The Flying Eagles will Wednesday take on Argentina, who has won all three group games, in an U20 World Cup rematch after they fought out a 1-1 draw with Colombia in Talca.
Wednesday’s Round of 16 clash between Nigeria and Argentina will be a repeat of the quarterfinal two years ago when the Flying Eagles ousted the U20 World Cup hosts 2-0.
The Flying Eagles again had captain Daniel Bameyi to thank for getting a vital result against Colombia in a final Group F clash after the defender also netted in stoppage time the winner against Saudi Arabia.

After a goalless draw in the first half, Colombia went ahead in the 51st minute.
However, with three minutes left on the clock Bameyi put away a penalty to draw Nigeria level after the impressive Tahir Maigana’s shot was handled inside the box.
Wednesday’s opponents Argentina won Group D, which had Italy, Australia and Cuba, after they won all three games, scored eight goals and only let in two.
They stopped Italy 1-0, then thrashed Australia 4-1 before they shot past Cuba 3-1.
