The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona announced on Thursday that they are seeking a man for making online threats against former President Donald Trump.

Ronald Lee Syvrud, 66, who has warrants in Wisconsin, made the threat while Trump was in Cochise County campaigning on border security ahead of the November 5th election.

The latest incident is one in a series of threats directed at political candidates. A Virginia man was charged in August with making threats against Vice President Kamala Harris, and a guy from New Hampshire is accused of making threats against Republican candidates in December. Two people were hurt and one person died in July when there was an attempt on Trump’s life in Washington, D.C.

Despite the threats, Trump expressed “great respect” for the Secret Service, acknowledging that while they made mistakes, they would learn from them. The Secret Service faced scrutiny after the July incident, which led to the director’s resignation.
