Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has opened up about another pregnancy loss, revealing that she was four months pregnant when she lost the pregnancy.
Abraham disclosed this while speaking at the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos, where she also recounted the emotional and financial support she received from Pastor Bolaji Idowu during the difficult period.
The actress said the pregnancy loss happened while she was still working on a film.
“I was four month pregnant, but I lost it. But guess what, I was filming, so I was down,” she said.
Abraham said she initially hesitated to tell her parents about the loss because she was concerned about how her mother would react.
“I didn’t want to call my parents; you know how it is that you don’t want to… my parents, my mom is old, and I didn’t want to call my mom,” she said.
She said she eventually informed her husband, but he was away at the time, prompting her to reach out to Pastor Bolaji.
“I just told my husband, but that day he was far away, and guess who I called?” she said.
“I just called Pastor Bolaji. He just started praying for me, and he said, ‘Where are you?’ I said, ‘I’m on my way to the hospital.’”
According to the actress, Pastor Bolaji asked what medical procedure she was going to undergo after she arrived at the hospital.

“He said, ‘What’s going to happen?’ I said, ‘They want to do an evacuation,’” she recalled.
Abraham said the pastor subsequently provided financial assistance to help her deal with the medical expenses.
“And Pastor Bolaji sent me millions,” she said.
She expressed gratitude to the pastor for standing by her during the difficult period.
“Thank you so much, Pastor Bolaji. God bless you,” she added.
The actress had previously spoken publicly about experiencing a pregnancy loss.
In 2022, Abraham told Channels Television that she had lost a pregnancy and had cried extensively because she wanted to have more children.
“Yes I want to have more kids. I was actually pregnant but I lost it. It’s fine though. But when it happened I cried, I cried a lot because I just want to have one or two more kids and I’m done, but things happen,” she said at the time.
Abraham, who has a son and a stepdaughter with her husband, actor Kola Ajeyemi, has previously spoken about her desire to have more children.
Her latest disclosure offers another glimpse into the personal challenges she has faced while balancing family life and her career in Nollywood.
