President of Democratic Dividend Initiative (DDI) a non-governmental organisation, Mr Paul Eze, has commended The Sun for the honour bestowed on Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as The Sun Man of the Year for 2015.
Eze described Asiwaju as a leader whose attributes are well known, “a man who understands and embodies the core values and aspiration of his people and places his time, reasons, goodwill and intellect at the disposal of others, in commitment to selfless service for the good of all.
According to Eze, Asiwaju, in his own part, as a true democrat, submitted his life and money in actualizing and maintaining the democracy we all are enjoying today. He commended The Sun newspaper for such wonderful idea aimed at encouraging and promoting individual efforts and contributions to the progress of our country.
He further described The Sun newspaper as an encyclopedia, not just a newspaper.
