Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka- “Zulu Authority,” celebrates 60th birthday with kids at Modupe Cole Orphanage Home in Lagos.

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Bola Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, also known as “Zulu Authority,” marked his 60th birthday by visiting persons with special needs at the Modupe Cole Orphanage Home in Lagos.

Accompanied by Kwara United’s Kumbi Titiloye, close friends, and staff and players of Smart City FC, Zulu spent meaningful time with the children, sharing encouragement and presenting support items to enhance the home’s welfare.

The SSA explained that the orphanage has been his go-to place to celebrate his birthday for over twenty years. “Seeing the children’s smiles during my visits means a lot to me. We brought gifts, food, home appliances, and toiletries to support them,” he said.

He expressed gratitude to President Tinubu, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and past Lagos State governors for their dedication to persons with special needs, highlighting the importance of inclusive policies.

His visit coincided with preparations for the home’s Inter-House Sports event, which Zulu pledged to support and attend.

“In President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, persons with special needs are prioritised. Our para-athletes are receiving attention through policies led by the Chairman of the National Sports Commission Malam Shehu Dikko, Director General High Chief Bukola Olopade, and former Edo Deputy Governor Comrade Phillip Shauibu.”

He also noted that the government cannot do it all alone and called for private sector involvement, emphasising the need for caregivers and health professionals skilled in caring for children with special needs.

Mrs. Oyeniran Abosede, Head Teacher of the Modupe Cole Orphanage Home, appreciated Zulu and his associates for their support.

“We thank Zulu for his consistent visits and also thank the Lagos State government for funding and developing the Modupe Cole Orphanage Home and inclusive school.”
