•Vows to continue with Buhari’s incorruptible attributes
From Stanley Uzoaru, Owerri
Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has promised to ensure prudent management of the country’s resources and ensure enhanced revenue generation if elected.
Tinubu, at a rally, yesterday, at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, Imo State., also pledged to invest in education for youths, make the state tourism destination and continue the anti-corruption fight of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He urged the people not to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who he claimed had deceived Nigerians throughput their tenure in office.
“Again today, I promise you that the developmental strides of APC will not stop, we would make Imo a destination for tourists, we would add value to your real estate, reconstruct and beautify your roads. We would invest in education; four years of university education must be four years, no more ASUU strike. We will increase your revenue generation capacity, end violence and inhumanity to man.
“We have come to assure you that we will break the shackles of poverty and ignorance. You can depend on us. Vote for APC. We will make Imo a destination for tourism. To you I make the pledge that the incorruptible attitude of President Muhammadu Buhari will continue. We will prudently manage your resources and increase your revenue generation capacity,“ he said.
President Buhari thanked the people for their continued support and expressed hope that Tinubu would emerge victorious in the poll.

“Thank you President Muhammadu Buhari for all you do for us. I want to assure Senator Tinubu today, that in the spirit of valentine, we will show you love, both in spirit and in action. Imo is APC. You don’t preach to the already converted. We will deliver,” he said.
