President Bola Tinubu has appointed Danjuma Ismaila as the Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) Zaria, Kaduna State.
This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Ismaila, an expert in air transportation management, transport economic policy and aviation security, brings a wealth of knowledge to the role.
He obtained a degree in Physics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1989, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation. He has also participated in numerous courses, workshops and seminars focused on civil aviation management and transportation.
A member of both the Royal Aeronautical Society (UK) and the Air Transport Research Society, Ismaila was a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura, before his new appointment.
