The third child of Britain’s Prince William and his wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, is expected to be born in April, the Royal family said on Tuesday.
“Their Royal Highnesses, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018,’’ Kensington Palace, their official residence in London, said in a brief statement.
The palace announced Kate’s pregnancy in September.
The couple has not said whether they are expecting a boy or a girl.
They already have two children: George, four, and Charlotte, two.
George is third in line to become king behind his father and his grandfather, Prince Charles.
