Rev. Father Benedict K. Onyemechalu, a Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, and a Multipotentialite, with a penchant for generating innovative ideas and solutions through Music, Sports, Arts, and Culture has continued to touch lives with his latest music project, The Magic In You.
Shedding more light on reasons he delved into music even as Catholic priest, Fr Onyemechalu better known as Fada Ben told Saturday Sun, “I am a musician, songwriter, and music producer, with scores of records to my name. I have a great interest and experience in photography, videography, editing, community building and youth development, tech. and smartphone creative ventures, amongst others. I believe and strongly support all that pushes for the growth of innovation in creative arts since a creative mind is a God-driven mind.
There’s a reason I came all out for this project. It’s a Fada Ben project like never before. The Magic is not just only in you. The Magic is also in the song and visuals too.
It is magical, influential, as well as inspiring and motivating all who come across the song towards positive action and affirmative change. The goal is the realization that we’all have got all it takes to realize a better world.
Just live and that magic will manifest. Living should be very intentional. You have to be intentional about being a better version of who you were before now.”
Rev Fr. Onyemechalu is also founder and Creative Director of O’Padre Creations.
“This initiative majorly seeks to profile young and gifted/talented people, mentor and equip them to actualize and utilize their God-given gifts and potentials, achieve independence, and become resourceful, thereby, impacting positively on their local community and the larger society”, he added.
