The founder of the Fountain of Life Church late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya was laid to rest

The burial rites for the founder which kicked off yesterday Friday 8, 2023 with a service of songs and today the burial service at the Fountain of Life Church headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State.

The funeral service which kicked off at 11 a.m. was attended by members of different churches across the globe while those who were unable to attend the service in person at the headquraters; viewed it online, with members of his church also in attendance.
Odukoya who passed on at 67, after a brief illness on August 7 in the United States of America, was laid to rest at Ikoyi Cemetery followed the funeral service.
Pastor Odukoya was laid to rest next to his first wife, Bimbo, who died in the Sosoliso plane crash 2005.
Bishop Oyedepo, the founder of Winners Chapel who was represented by Pastor David Abioye in his sermon called on Nigerians to emulate the virtues of the late pastor Odukoya who started his missionary journey by giving his life to Christ and this assisted him to touch many lives while he sorjourned on earth.
“ We cannot extend our time when death comes whether you die young or old, death is and appointment we have to keep, therefore give you life to Christ before then, because when it comes it does not give you time to negotiate, whether you rich or poor” ,
“Nobody has the power to negotiate with death, no probability in death, we are all in the line when our times comes, we have to go”.
Dignitaries greased the occasion such as the wife of the Former Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo; Bishop Mike Okonkwo and his Wife Peace; Pastor Paul Adefarasin; Bishop Stephen Adegbite Lagos State CAN Chairman; Rev. Sam Adeyemi; Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, among others.
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya is the founder of as well as the senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju The church was founded in 1992, with branches all over the country, he tocuhed many lives during his life times especially those boys under the bridge in Oshodi.
The Motto of the church is “To teach men and women the art of building a successful relationships and the principle of leadership so that they can be who they are created to be”.
