Sometimes, the biggest changes in a company start quietly, with one person spotting a better way to do things and having the patience and skill to make it happen. That is exactly what happened at Concentrix’s Malaysia branch in Kuala Lumpur, where Abdullateef Okuboye’s work began rippling far beyond his own office walls.

Concentrix, a leading customer service and business solutions company with its headquarters based in Newark california USA, operates in more than 40 countries with hundreds of branches across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. From Kuala Lumpur to Kingston, its teams handle millions of customer interactions for some of the world’s most recognizable brands.

Within a network of that size, recognition is rare, and that’s what makes Abdullateef’s Unsung Hero Award so meaningful. This is not a spotlight prize given for the show; it is a mark of deep respect for those whose work quietly improves the company’s performance across continents elucidating the fact that for every exceptional innovation, “the real impact is not always loud — but it’s always felt.”

Abdullateef earned the honor by redesigning Standard Operating Procedures for three major product lines serving over 500,000 customers. His changes cut complaints dramatically, from almost two‑thirds to just over one in ten. As a manager to over 100 technical support specialists across four continents, his team delivers consistent experience by phone, chat, and email evolving the various innovations across digital channels and enhancing actualization of key performance indicators under his leadership.

After careful EOY review for 2015, Abdullateef team results stood out and the dividends of his exceptional leadership secured him the prestigious Global unsung Hero award for the entire company. The Concentrix global CEO Chris Caldwell who was present in Malaysia. while speaking to the criteria for the awards said in his words “Leadership is building something that won’t break under pressure” sighting his personal observance on the Abdullateef led team since he joined the company and how he has utilized his extraordinary abilities on not just breaking boundaries but creating an indelible print in the company history.

While presenting the award, he also admonished other managers to adopt Abdullateef leadership style because he has exhibited a clear signal to every branch that his way of working is the standard to resonate with as a leader. He added that “True leadership changes the system — and leaves it stronger than before.”

The Unsung Hero Award celebrates more than fixing problems. It is about building strong systems that work anywhere, stand the test of time, and keep delivering results after the spotlight has moved on.

From his position in Kuala Lumpur, Abdullateef Okuboye proved that quiet, steady excellence can echo across the entire Concentrix network and set a bar high enough for the whole world to see.
