Thankgod Omori, better known as TG Omori, a popular Nigerian music video director, recently had kidney transplant surgery in Lagos.
The filmmaker, who announced this in a message posted to his X account on Wednesday, said the procedure was unsuccessful.
He asked his supporters to pray for him as he continues to battle the kidney disease.

He revealed that his kidney got damaged last year.
Omori wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me.”
It should be recalled that TG Omori had earlier disclosed that his only brother just donated one kidney to him.
The music director had been away from the public for some time and his absence has caused many concerns among fans.
