Techway Africa partners with leading organisations to train 10,000 tech talents across Africa

 

 

In a bold move to accelerate Africa’s digital transformation, Techway Africa has entered into a strategic partnership withVibranium Valley Foundation and Cardano, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and digital asset exchange. Together, the two organizations will train 10,000 aspiring tech professionals across Africa, equipping them with future-ready skills in blockchain, Web3, software engineering, and digital innovation.

This initiative marks a defining milestone for Techway Africa as it expands its operations beyond Nigeria into key African markets including Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa. The expansion reflects Techway Africa’s mission to build a continent-wide network of young innovators who can compete globally while solving local challenges.

Since its inception in 2023, Techway Africa has quickly established itself as a leading force in Africa’s digital skills movement. In that time, the organization has trained and mentored over 2,000 young Africans in areas such as software development, data analytics, and product management, partnered with leading organizations to deliver career readiness programs, helping hundreds secure roles in African startups and international tech companies. built a vibrant community of learners and innovators across Nigeria, fostering entrepreneurship through hackathons, bootcamps, and demo days. These achievements provide a strong foundation for Techway Africa’s next chapter: scaling its impact beyond Nigeria into other African countries, starting with East and Southern Africa.

Oyinkansola Osifalujo, Founder of Techway Africa, emphasized the significance of the expansion:

Applications for the program will open in the coming weeks, with training sessions set to roll out first in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa, before extending to additional African countries. The curriculum will cover Blockchain Fundamentals & Web3 Development, Software Engineering and Product Development, Digital Innovation & Problem-Solving and Career Readiness, Mentorship, and Networking Graduates will receive certifications, access to global tech communities, and opportunities for internships and placements. By expanding beyond Nigeria, Techway Africa aims to create a pan-African community of innovators and problem-solvers, reducing unemployment and strengthening Africa’s presence in the global digital economy.
