Nigeria’s tax reform drive has received a boost as the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), accredited Pillarcraft Cloud Solutions as a System Integrator for the national e-invoicing framework.
The accreditation positions Pillarcraft among a select group of firms authorised to support the implementation of e-invoicing in Nigeria, a key pillar of the government’s digital tax transformation agenda.
Under the NRS e-invoicing (Merchant Buyer) framework, System Integrators are licensed service providers responsible for linking taxpayers’ enterprise resource planning (ERP), accounting and invoicing systems to the NRS e-invoicing platform.
According to the firm, this ensures that invoices generated by businesses are converted into the approved NRS format, securely transmitted for validation and returned for compliance, reporting and audit purposes.
With this accreditation, Pillarcraft is now authorised to act as a trusted integration partner, helping businesses transmit compliant electronic invoices, maintain audit-ready records, and align their internal systems with national e-invoicing requirements.
Alongside the accreditation, Pillarcraft has launched UsawaConnect™, a middleware solution purposefully engineered to bridge the gap between business systems and the NRS e-invoicing infrastructure.
Commenting on the development, Founder of Pillarcraft, Bayode Agbi said: “E-invoicing is not just a technology project; it is a tax and business transformation. Our accreditation as a System Integrator and the launch of UsawaConnect™ reflect years of practical experience working with Nigerian businesses, tax authorities, and enterprise systems. We built UsawaConnect™ to make compliance seamless, reliable, and scalable.”
