With its upscale architecture, dainty finishing and quaint elegance, Tatiana Hotel and Suites, Festac Town, Lagos, is a visual experience that yields bonding encounter befitting of treasured moments any day. The hotel, located at House 1, Second Avenue, 205 Road, Festac Town, in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos, will be a nest for lovers seeking a romantic getaway, when the management opens its doors to couples to swim in its exquisite ambience, swathed in soft and sentimental rhythms during February 14, Valentine’s Day.
The opportunity comes in the form of a soirée, dubbed “Tatiana Valentine couples hangout.” Meant for lovebirds, it would be a celebration of love in more acts than one.
Act one will be a sumptuous buffet from 12 noon to the middle of the night in the restaurant. The first 10 couples to the hotel would be treated to a complimentary glass of red wine.
“We took time to plan this occasion for lovers who desire to hang out in a cozy and serene environment like Festac Town. And to ensure that couples capture the enchanting moment, we have decided to make the gate fee as little as N5,000 per couple,” Ogbonna Prince C., the hotel’s general manager, told journalists.
According to him, “At the VIP and terrace bar, there is going to be fun galore, spiced up with classical and contemporary music for the delight of the couples. The lighting is going to be red, which represents joy, sexuality, passion, sensitivity and love; the essence of the event,” Ogbonna said.
Revealing that it would be an annual event, he added that it would be the first of its kind to be organised by the hotel: “After this Val’s Day, we also have other events lined up for guests to the hotel. We are taking it one step at a time because we believe in growth that is gradual and steady. We plan to put up another show that would be louder in terms of reach, exposure and line up of events during Easter.
“We want to take Tatiana Hotel and Suites to the highest level. The plans are afloat, and we are earnestly working towards it,” he said.
He used the occasion to call on Nigerians to spread love to one another for the benefit of the country this Valentine’s Day.
While giving account of the day, the hotel’s entertainment manager, Ehimihen Davies, noted that Valentine was widely celebrated because it signified love, passion and unity.
Ehimihen said, “The reason for the show was to appreciate some of their customers,and also give the day a special outlook and touch. We want to make couples to understand that it is an exceptional day for them to come and experience the hospitality, comfort, and splendid experience of Tatiana; the latest Festac attraction”.
“Act two is that there is also going to be some colourful decorations, in-house photographer to give them picture-perfect snaps so that they can have those memories for keep.
“The final act is couples’ games to make the occasion fun-filled. The essence is to take couples out of their comfort zones, and remind them of how they started their relationship. “We noticed that, sometimes, due to workload and family pressures, couples forget that they were once young, and in courtship. The show will reenact those memories; when they used to lick ice creams, hangout, and visit the beach.
