District Superintendent of Apostolic Faith Church, West and Central Africa (WECA), Rev. Isaac Adigun has called on Nigeria’s to return to God as the only way to bring about economic prosperity

He made the called at the camp meeting/80th anniversary musical concert of the Apostolic Faith choir and orchestra at Crawford University, Igbesa, Ogun State.

“The pursuit of security, economic prosperity and strong human connections may remain elusive unless Nigerians and the world return to God. We need a collective return to foundational values, including faith and ethical conduct,” he stated.

Adigun noted that the hope for a better life only lies in God.

He stated that fostering a culture rooted in godly ideals could bring about personal peace as well as also contribute to a more stable and prosperous society.

He, therefore, called for a return to the spiritual and moral principles, which serve as a reminder that progress is not only measured in material terms but also in the depth of people’s relationships as well as the strength of the communities.

He urged Nigerians to fervently seek the face of God, so that the country would experience peace, unity, and meaningful socio-economic and political development.

“Until Nigeria, and indeed, the world retrace their steps in total obedience to God’s will as spelt out in His commandments, no one should expect that things would come back to normal.

“We do a lot of intercessional prayers for God to show His mercy on Nigeria and the world, but we must all return to God in absolute repentance.

“That is why, as you can see, the theme for our convention this year is ‘Come, Let us Repair The Altar,’ and repairing the altar means returning to God.

“We cannot depart from the ancient landmark and expect any good results. As a church, we have the mandate to intercede for the nation and we are doing just that by God’s grace and God will surely save Nigeria,” he noted.
