The South West Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Daramola Adesuyi, has called for stronger collaboration among political leaders and government stakeholders to enhance youth mobilisation and development across the South-West region.
Adesuyi made the call during a consultation and familiarisation visit to the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Youth Mobilisation, Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji, where both leaders discussed strategies for deepening youth engagement and participation in governance.
Speaking after the meeting, Adesuyi said the visit was part of ongoing consultations aimed at building strategic partnerships that would deliver greater opportunities for young people.
According to him, discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and fostering partnerships to promote youth engagement, empowerment, and inclusive participation in governance.
“We remain committed to working together to create greater opportunities for young people across Lagos State and the South-West,” he said.
Responding, Oladimeji described the meeting as fruitful, noting that it reflected a shared commitment to strengthening the progressive youth constituency.
He said both leaders explored ways of building strategic partnerships that would empower young people, deepen political participation, and expand opportunities for youth development across the South-West.
Oladimeji expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged to work closely with the APC South West Youth Leader to advance initiatives that would positively impact young people.
“I appreciate the visit and look forward to working together to advance initiatives that will empower our youth and strengthen our shared progressive ideals,” he said.
The meeting is part of ongoing efforts by the APC youth leadership to foster collaboration among key stakeholders and promote programmes aimed at increasing youth participation in governance and socio-political development across the region.
