It was an afternoon of electrifying performances of dance, acrobatics and music at the finals of first IXBEX Community Football Tournament during the week.
The energetic members of the Nigeria Supporters Club and the cheerleaders added colour and fun to the event, as they tirelessly kept the place on fire with their music, dance and acrobatics to cheer players and entertain the audience.
The emerging trend of cheerleaders in Nigeria and the stellar performances they put up at the event got the audience awed.
Notable former Eagles’ players like Friday Elahor, Friday Ekpo, Wasiu Ipaye and Godwin Okpara thrilled the fans in a five-a-side games, bringing back memories.

The competition is in tandem with IBEX’s way of giving back to the society by engaging the youths positively through football.
There were tons of talents involve in the tournament as 40 teams participated in challenge that kicked off on October 3 across the five conferences.
Match international boss, Waidi Akanni, consultant to the competition said, “I’m impressed, I was entertained. If I had to pay to watch these fantastic players, it would have been money well spent. I see future stars that will not only conquer Africa but the world at large.
