The Executive Chairman, Enugu State Tourism Board, Dame Rita Mbah has hailed the Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah on his prestigious Sun Governor of the year award.
She said that Mbah’s award comes as no surprise to her, rather, it is a confirmation of her belief in the governor’s undying vision to make Enugu the best State in Nigeria.
She also went ahead to enumerate numerous transformative and revolutionary accomplishments of the Mbah administration within the short time he has been in the office.
“Big Congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, on receiving the well-deserved Sun Governor-of-The-Year Award. This recognition comes as no surprise to me, as Governor Mbah has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication to fulfilling his promises to the people of Enugu State.”
“During the campaigns, Governor Mbah pledged to uplift Enugu State and improve the lives of its citizens. His words were expectedly greeted with the usual attitudinal apathy and lackadaisical reaction to political campaign promises in our part of the world.
“Nevertheless, without an iota of delay, he hit the ground running, so fast he earned himself the “Catch-Me-If-You-Can Governor” title, as the people of Enugu now struggle to catch up with his quantum leaps in daring economic recovery policies and radical infrastructural development.
“Governor Mbah’s strategically disruptive approach to transformative governance has given Enugu State an incredibly redemptive mileage,” she added.
Dame Rita said that Governor Mbah’s selfless leadership and total commitment to the socio-economic upliftment of Enugu State has quickly endeared him to the people of Enugu.
She expressed confidence in the Governor’s visionary leadership, unequivocally stating, “I am certain that more remarkable achievements are yet to come under Governor Mbah’s leadership.
This prestigious Award and the many others yet to come, are clear pointers to Governor Mbah’s relentless and unbridled desire to make Enugu one of the best states in Nigeria. Evidently, the people of Enugu have suddenly become extravagantly optimistic and it can only get better,” she said.
