A unique talent hunt in entertainment circle tagged : SRTV Talent Expo, kicked off yesterday at Festival Hotels, Festac Town.
The three days event is an initiative of SRTV, a 24/7 London based digital multi cast, multi cultural arts, entertainment & lifestyle Channel that offers traditional and alternative programs for viewers.
The Uk-based Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Christian Ashaiku at a press conference in Lagos to herald the show says the talent expo is an international networking event designed to scout and empower new creative talents in Nigeria.
.Ashaiku revealed that the talent expo would be in three part the moon light film festival, African fabric runway and the talent award night.
The event equally would attract a global audience as films produced by Jamaicans would equally be showcased.
The winner at the event goes home with a brand new car and cash of N500,000.
While the first runner up becomes the brand ambassador and face of SRTV and second runner up, the face of Slyvester Ogbolu’s company, he said.
“SRTV talent hunt seeks to encourage Nigerian youths with interest in arts and film providing them with a unique platform to harness and push the boundaries of their creativity. We intend to use the platform to empower aspiring and untapped talents at the grassroots in Nigeria”.
