Sophos, an innovative security solutions firm, yesterday, hosted its annual Sophos Experience Partner Roadshow 2025 in Lagos, bringing together over 90 cybersecurity professionals from across Nigeria.

The event served as a platform for Sophos to discuss its strategic vision, share key channel updates and acknowledge the exceptional contributions of its leading partners in the region.

Sophos underscored its commitment to innovation, outlining its strategy and best practices in the ongoing battle against cyber threats. A significant focus was placed on the alarming rise of ransomware, which, according to the latest Sophos Threat Report, accounted for 70% of incidents for small businesses in 2024 and over 90% for medium-sized organizations.

Under the inspiring slogan, “Channel-best is not just a slogan, it’s our DNA,” Sophos presented its comprehensive offering designed to empower partners and foster business growth. This includes Sophos Central, the company’s unified platform, which leverages artificial intelligence and is supported by experts in Managed Detection and Response (MDR). This robust platform is designed to provide comprehensive protection across the entire attack surface, including endpoints, networks, email, and cloud environments.

“During the event, we showcased our initiatives to enhance partner experience, expand their training, and integrate the Sophos and Secureworks portfolios to offer simpler, more scalable, and profitable solutions,” stated Prish Thaakar, Director of Sales Africa for Sophos.
