The remains of Lagos-based entertainer, Mukaila Senwele have been laid to rest in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, on Saturday.

Senwele, who died abruptly aged 38 on Friday, was buried at the Muslim Cemetery.

He hailed from the Esinrogunjo family compound in the Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The comic singer was said to have died after a performance at the birthday ceremony of his teacher, Alhaji Moshood Pakata.

It was learnt that the late singer showed no signs of illness before his death.

However, his manager, Ibrahim Toyeeb debunked rumour that he died mid-performance.

“We ate and performed Asr prayers together. We all sat down together and suddenly around 5 pm, he said Ha! and gave up. That was all and we quickly rushed him to the hospital but he was already dead before we got there,” Toyeeb said.
