A house wife identified as Oluwakemi Omolara has allegedly killed her husband, Seidu Jamiu over suspected act of infidelity.
It was learnt that an argument broke out between the wife and her deceased husband at night over alleged infidelity by the husband.
This, according to sources prompted the wife to heat her husband with a pestle till he gave up the ghost.
The incident which happened in Akungba Akoko in Ondo State threw the town into sorrow as relatives and friends mourn the gruesome and untimely death of the deceased.
It was gathered that residents of the deceased’s house woke up to find Jamiu in the pool of his blood after his wife had smashed his head with pestle.
The late Jamiu was said to have been suspected to have an extra marital affair, a development which often led to serious argument between him and his wife.
The police in Akungba, Akoko have arrested the suspected killer and she was said to have been moved to the state police headquarters in Akure, the state capital.
