National Sports Commission (NSC) Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko was on Tuesday inducted as Honorary Member of International Military Sports Council.
In a brief event at the NSC Secretariat, President Organisation of Military Sports in Africa and Vice-President International Military Sports Council, Maj. Gen. Maikano Abdulahi observed that the induction was in recognition of Mallam Dikko’s support towards the last Africa Military Games held in Abuja.

“The last Africa Military Games was successful largely due to the support of the NSC under his leadership. We have also noted the ongoing sports reforms in Nigeria under his watch. We hope for further collaborations for the good of sports in Nigeria, Africa and the world generally”, Maj. Gen Abdulahi said.
With this induction, the NSC Chairman is free to access facilities in the officers’ mess at the headquarters of International Military Sports Council in Brussels.
