More than 13,800 people have registered for the seventh edition of the SheCan Do More Conference, organisers have disclosed ahead of the annual leadership and empowerment event scheduled to hold on June 19, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The conference, organised by SheCan Nigeria, is expected to bring together women, young professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders, policymakers and corporate executives for discussions on leadership, entrepreneurship, mentorship, innovation and economic empowerment.
Founder of SheCan Nigeria and Deputy Managing Director of MBR Signature Ltd, Dr. Ezinne Ezeani, said the conference has grown beyond an annual gathering into a year-round platform focused on supporting women through mentorship, networking, skills acquisition and career development programmes.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lagos, Ezeani said the conference was established to provide a platform where accomplished professionals and industry leaders can share experiences and inspire participants to pursue personal and professional growth.
“For us, the conference is not just a one-day event. It is part of a broader ecosystem that provides mentorship programmes, networking opportunities, career fairs, training sessions, roundtable engagements and skills development initiatives throughout the year,” she said.
According to her, the increasing number of registrations reflects the growing demand for platforms that provide access to opportunities, knowledge and professional networks.

Ezeani noted that the conference remains committed to creating opportunities for both women and men to engage in conversations around leadership, entrepreneurship and national development.
She said participants would benefit from keynote presentations, panel discussions, mentorship sessions, networking opportunities and practical insights aimed at helping them navigate career and business challenges.
Also speaking at the briefing, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Seven-Up Bottling Company, Sari El-Khalil, said the company’s decision to support the conference was driven by a shared commitment to resilience, growth and empowerment.
“When we encountered the vision behind SheCan, we recognised values that resonated strongly with our own. We saw an organisation committed to creating opportunities and inspiring people to achieve more. That alignment made the partnership a natural one for us,” he said.
El-Khalil described the collaboration as the beginning of a longer-term relationship and commended the level of support the initiative has attracted from corporate organisations.
