of Assembly by operatives of the Department of State Services and report back in two weeks.

The Senate’s decision was sequel to a motion‎ sponsored by Senator Biodun Olujimi (PDP-Ekiti), who described the action of the DSS as barbaric.

Olujimi said: “This action is not only unconstitutional, illegal and unlawful, but a plot to harass intimidate and embarrass the people and government of Ekiti State.”

Speaking in support of the motion, the Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, said what happened in the Ekiti State House of Assembly was wrong.
