Security outfit celebrates at 30

At a time when many companies are folding up in the country due to challenges in the economy, a private security outfit recently celebrated 30 years  of existence. It also celebrated dependable customers, loyal staff and efficient operatives over the years.

Speaking at the presentation of its 30 years outstanding strategic partnership award to XHS Nigeria Limited Xerox in Nigeria, the managing director and chief executive officer of Kings Guards, Mr. Sam Olaniran, expressed gratitude to Xerox for being his company’s most consistent customer over the past 30 years, noting that the wealth of experience of Xerox in Nigeria has always been rubbing off positively on Kings Guards.

Olaniran revealed that the outfit began operations in Nigeria on December 17, 1992, with Xerox in the stable of its first clientele and the business relationship has evolved into an outstanding strategic partnership that is still standing the test of time.  He said: “As we mark the 30th anniversary of our great company, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to our numerous customers, stakeholders, partners and staff, particularly Xerox in Nigeria, for their unwavering support, understanding and loyalty over the years.”

He further stated that Kings Guards was committed to providing continued excellent, innovative security services that would continue to meet the needs of customers, assuring them of a future with greater tidings.

While presenting the award to Dr. Olufemi Okunade, managing director and chief executive officer of Xerox Nigeria, Olaniran revealed that both Xerox and Kings Guards were lucky with the great attributes and qualities inherent in their leadership. He applauded the Xerox chief executive for always guiding and mentoring him without relenting.

Receiving the award on behalf of Xerox in Nigeria, Okunade noted that Kings Guards Nigeria Limited has done well for itself and  numerous customers.

He noted that, if the security services being provided were not satisfactory, he would have left Kings Guards.
