Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has rejoiced with residents of the state, especially Christian faithful as they celebrate Christmas.

He urged Nigerians and Lagosians not to lose hope due to the challenging times in the state and the country at large, charging them to continue to trust in God and have faith in the good intentions of the current administration.
“We are at the very recovery stage of our challenges, and that I can assure you that with all the policies the Federal Government is putting in place, things will get better, therefore I charge you to remain hopeful.”
Sanwo-Olu, who said Lagos would remain the commercial centre of Nigeria, and continue to attract investments, also said he was grateful that the president and the vice president visited the state to celebrate Christmas with the people. He said his administration is committed to give hope to people through various development programmes the state government is embarking on.
Prelate of Methodist Church, Oliver Aba, called on President Bola Tinubu and other leaders to establish more industries in order to create job opportunities for the youths.
“I am appealing to leaders to have sympathy for the people, let’s give service to the people, so that the nation can grow better. If we do this, I assure you Nigeria will be a better place for all of us,” he said.
