The Governorship Candidate of The Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor has expressed displeasure over the late arrival of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and election materials.
Rhodes-Vivor arrived his polling unit Oshifile Street 022, Anifowose Ikeja at about 09:57 to discover that he has been moved to Unit 045 which is within walking distancing.
He noted that voting in the area had always been peaceful and that he expected nothing less than a peaceful poll.
He said, “I must say that I am mot pleased that INEC has not brought election materials by this time. It is not good.
“Reports we are getting is that places that are not dominated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) like Ifelodu-Ajomire and others that election materials are getting there late.
“The only thing we demand is that the INEC must allow every boter that came out to cast his or her vote before they close the voting process.
