An unspecified number of repentant Boko Haram insurgents have arrived Gombe State for rehabilitation.
The insurgents landed at the international wing of the Gombe airport at around 11.30a.m, conveyed in a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jet marked NAF913.
The repentant Boko Haram members, dressed in khaki uniforms and white canvass, were later loaded into four buses belonging to the Gombe State Transport Company for onward movement to a rehabilitation camp under tight security.
This is the second batch of repentant Boko Haram to undergo rehabilitation under the Federal Government programme that provides a window of opportunity for the insurgents to surrender.
