Remo Stars Ladies triumphed over Abia Angels, winning 6-4 on penalties to claim the 2024 Sheroes Cup at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.

Ekozie Dikachi put Abia Angels ahead with a spectacular goal in the 11th minute, and they maintained this lead until halftime.

In the second half, Remo Stars Ladies executed their coach’s game plan effectively, and Kehinde Deborah equalized in the 46th minute.

In the third-place match, Naija Ratels emerged victorious against Bayelsa Queens, winning 5-4 on penalties. Super substitute Arit Titus opened the scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute, but Nwachukwu Adana equalized for the hosts, Naija Ratels.

Wemimo Mathew, the head coach of Remo Stars Ladies, was named the best coach of the competition.

Abia Angels striker Lucky Mary received the Most Valuable Player award. Ziporah Ziperrekheke, a striker for Naija Ratels, was recognized as the Highest Goal Scorer, while Honey Badgers FC won the Fair Play trophy. Remo Stars goalkeeper Adjei Charlotte was awarded the title of Best Goalkeeper.
