…As Ecclesia Church hosts its 5th marketplace event

Some of Nigeria’s prominent business and religious leaders will converge in Lagos on May 30 and 31 for the fifth edition of ‘Open for Business’, an annual conference organised by Hills Business Connections, the marketplace arm of The Ecclesia Hills Church.
The two-day event, themed “Crossing the Red Sea,” will be held in two venues and is free to attend, though registration is required. This year’s lineup includes Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah, former Federal Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment and Chairman of African Capital Alliance, one of Africa’s older private equity firms. Also billed to speak are Kemi Ojenike, Managing Director of Meristem Family Office and co-founder of The Destiny Trust, and Nosa Igbinedion, who heads both Kingdom Equity Management and Gartmore Investment.
The sessions will cover topics like entrepreneurship, career development, family, nation building, and what organisers describe as societal transformation. This year’s edition draws its theme “Crossing the Red Sea” from the biblical account in Exodus 14, in which the Israelites escape Egypt through a miraculously parted sea. The conference, which targets business owners, innovators, and professionals aims to address what organizers describe as moments when challenges appear insurmountable but forward movement remains possible.
