Showbiz impresario and Chief Executive Officer, Empire Entertainment, Dickson Aligbe, has opened a state-of-the-art mansion at Beachland Estate, Lekki, Ajah, Lagos for the production of films and reality shows.

Having such an edifice in America, where he organizes various types of entertainment programmes, he decided to replicate such in Nigeria.

In his welcome address, Aigbe said, “Our reason for coming here today is more of celebration. We are here to launch Empire Entertainment and our new building for reality shows and mostly movies. My guests are so happy and I am happy myself.

He said further: “The dream about this investment is about my love for my country, youths in the entertainment and creative industry, and how we can give back to the society. We brought a tour bus a couple of years ago and we held a reality show called ‘Impact Your world’. We took the housemates to Tejuosho Market, Yaba where they impacted the lives of the people. We also did a shoot where some people participated. My goal in life is to help people to the best of my ability.

“O ur show, The Apprentice, is not just about keeping youths in the house, but also about impacting the lives of the youths. Empire Entertainment is established in America and now in Nigeria. I am privileged to have the opportunity of bringing entertainment at its best to Nigeria.”

Also speaking, veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, said: “I am presently at the premiere mansion where miracles, talents will be recognised, which is fantastic. It is one of the privately owned reality show locations and I am very sure that the kind of products that it will bring out will go out there and start breaking grounds.

“I commend the organisers of reality shows in the country in whatever form because they are contributing to the development of entertainment in this part of the world. They are helping to bring up talents and we can imagine the huge sum of money they have put into it. I believe it is not all about money they have put but also what the organiser has put in place. I expect the housemates in future reality shows in this mansion to come up with creativity that they can leverage on, and by the time they leave as housemates, they will make exploits in the country.”
