From Priscilla Ediare, Ado-Ekiti

Prophet Ade Ologbonyo, the planter of Christ Apostolic Church (Boanerges) worldwide, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Ekiti State and Nigeria as they observe the ongoing Ramadan fast.

Similarly, he urged them to use the period of the holy month to pray for President Bola Tinubu and Nigeria to get out of her multifaceted challenges, noting that with prayers and right actions the country’s economy will bounce back and the rising insecurity will be curtailed.

The religious leader stated this in a statement he personally signed where he noted that fasting was not just merely meant to stay hungry or thirsty from dawn till sunset, but an opportunity to strive for inner purification and self-accountability.

Prophet Ologbonyo also enjoined Muslims to increase their love for humanity, acts of charity, kindness, generosity and gratitude.

He called on Muslims and Christians to always remember the less privileged people around them.
