Senegalese President, Bassirou Doamaye Faye, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State a former Auditor General of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Paul Chukwuma, among others, bagged the African Media Group award, for sterling leadership.
Chukwuma, specifically bagged the African Illustrious Award for his various contributions to his community, including the construction of roads and support for the indigents in Umueri, and his support for education, which includes the recent payment of SSCE and UTME fees for 1,000 and 500 students in Anambra State, respectively.
The ceremony, which was held in Lagos State, was attended by a diverse group of people from all walks of life who have made significant contributions to the growth of humanity.
The African Illustrious Award, which began 5 years ago, aims to reward deserving Africans who have distinguished themselves in their various contributions to the growth of African societies.
Speaking during the presentation of the award, Chief Hillary Udanoh, who represented Paul Chukwuma at the award ceremony, dedicated the award to the people of Anambra State, stating that Chukwuma has promised not to relent in his efforts to improve humanity and reduce economic inequalities as best as he can
Paul Chukwuma, who is renowned for his silent brand of philanthropy, has always reiterated his commitment to improving education and the standard of living by consistently investing in education and the lives of people.
