Accreditation of voters and voting have commenced at various polling units in Ebonyi State. In some polling units, the exercise started as early as 7am.
At Amaokwe Umuhali polling unit 007 in Ishielu Local Government Area of the state, the Chairman of the council area, Henry Eze, voted at about 9:15am.
Speaking shortly after exercising his franchise, the council boss commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for starting off on a good note in the area.
