Police personnel deployed to protect rights of protesters are said to have opened fire at the protesters.
Daily Sun, gathered that the protesters defying threats by the FCT minister Nyesom Wike, that the FCT will not be available for the protest gathered in their hundreds to embark on the protest.
It was gathered that the protest which started at about eight o’clock in the morning, turned violent after police fired gun shot to disperse the protesters.
Daily Sun, cannot tell whether or not any protesters was hit or killed by the police.
